PosiFlush Shift Coordinator - 3rd Shift

General Function
The general function of this position is to provide the first level of management to production operators. Executes the manufacturing strategies and objectives relating to production operations.
Essential Functions
Administer plant policies (safety, attendance, disciplinary actions).
Responsible for training of new employees including new operator orientation, ITR's, and appropriate counseling/coaching.
Monitor and take appropriate action regarding individual quality and productivity issues in coordination with the Shift Coordinator and Unit Manager.
Responsible for being knowledgeable of regulatory policies and procedures, such as GMP's, ISO, OSHA, FDA, environment, etc., and comply with these procedures.
Responsible for achieving schedule compliance on all product lines.
Propose and develop methods to improve quality, cost, and overall organizational effectiveness.
Assist in the continual development of teams and team effectiveness.
Participate fully to achieve the department's safety goals.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Hold self accountable to follow all safety policies & procedures
Debrief accidents & implement solutions to eliminate root cause.
Hold team members to safety standards/regulations & policies.
Supervision
Responsible for all associates on their shift, including hourly, indirect, and salaried employees.
Issues of overall associate or shift performance will be discussed with the Unit Manager and appropriate action agreed to.
Required Knowledge, Experience, Skills & Abilities
Must have a general knowledge of financial reporting, including labor, waste, and expense costs and good understanding of business practices to achieve competitive advantages.
One to three years manufacturing or related supervisory experience.
Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of the business including appropriate actions to resolve problems.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate a team-based environment.
Must be able to read, understand and follow hazardous waste handling procedures to comply with EPA requirements.
Level of Education/Knowledge needed:

Bachelor's Degree
Desired Education/Knowledge
Knowledgeable of ISO & FDA regulations and BD Quality policies
Knowledgeable of how Statistical Process Control (SPC) is applied
Level of Experience needed:
