BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) BD COLUMBUS JOB POSTING POSITION Cannula Tube Team Operator COST _ CENTER___ 1001/1025 GRADE/JOB GROUP 7 LOCATION BDMS - West GENERAL FUNCTION/JOB RESPONSIBILIES The general function of this job is to operate equipment to produce tubing. Various tasks that will be assigned rotationally are:
Welding,
Blocks, Sinks, Auto-Cut, Annealer and other tasks as necessary. Operators are responsible for meeting established production standards. They are responsible for meeting the quality requirements of the product and operating within the policies and procedures of the Quality System. Operators must be able to use microscopes, pin gages and other inspection devices as necessary. These tasks involve lifting and handling material:
rolls of tubing, tubs and cartridges of cannula. The job requires being able to work on your feet. Candidates for this job must be safety conscious and work safely especially when handling tubing and cut cannula. Operators are required to do some basic maintenance as required to keep the machines running. They are also required to use basic hand tools, ie allen wrenches, files, side cutters, crescent wrenches, etc. Operators must be able to work with little supervision, able to work in a team environment, and have good mechanical skills. Operators will be exposed to with various oils and solvents. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
